About the Event
WHAT IS A ZINE?
A zine is an analogue, DIY, small print run magazine that can cover a wide range of subject matter. In this fun and hands on workshops, participants will be given a brief history of zines, and will be instructed in a variety of zine making techniques. From there, they will be guided in collaboratively making a zine with the workshop group using a range of creative prompts. The zine might include collage, art, drawings, poetry, creative writing, cartoons, found objects or reflections. There are no rules! Leave technology at the door, and connect with this tactile medium.
